Our Purpose at Friendship Baptist Church:

To Exalt the Saviour
As the Scriptures exhort us in Psalm 34:3, “O magnify the LORD with me, and let us exalt his name together,” we strive to exalt the Lord Jesus Christ in every facet of our lives and ministry.

To Evangelize the Sinner
We believe that at the very heartbeat of God is the Great Commission; therefore, we seek to fulfill the command given to us in Matthew 28:19, “Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost:”

To Edify the Saved
Once a person trusts Christ as their personal Saviour, the Christian life has just begun. God’s desire for every Christian is to be conformed to the image of Christ, and we believe this is accomplished when we fulfill Matthew 28:20, “Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you:”

Children's Ministry

Children’s Sunday School

We believe that children are an important part of our church, and it is our desire to train and equip them for the future. We want them to love church now so that they will love church in the future.

Children’s Sunday School meets at 10:00 AM, where they engage in age-appropriate Bible lessons to help them grow in their faith.

Nursery
Our loving nursery workers provide a clean and safe environment for little ones so that parents can have peace of mind while attending an adult Bible class or worship service. The nursery is available for newborns and toddlers up to age 3 and is provided during every service.

New Believers Discipleship Courses

If you’ve recently trusted Jesus Christ as your Savior, it’s important to get grounded in sound Bible doctrine right away. Our discipleship course is designed to help you grow spiritually by teaching you the essential truths of the Christian faith straight from God’s preserved Word—the King James Bible. Too many new Christians struggle because they aren’t rooted in the Book, but our discipleship course will help you establish a firm foundation in biblical truth.

Through this course, you’ll learn what the Bible says about salvation, prayer, studying the Scriptures, the local church, and how to share your faith with others. You’ll also gain a clear understanding of dispensational truth, spiritual growth, and how to stand for Christ in a world that often rejects Him. This isn’t about man’s opinions—it’s about rightly dividing the word of truth (2 Tim. 2:15) and growing in grace as a Bible-believing Christian. Whether you're new to the faith or simply want to strengthen your walk with the Lord, this course will equip you to live a victorious Christian life!

World Missions

At Friendship Baptist Church, we believe that missions is the heartbeat of God. Our passion for world missions comes from Christ’s Great Commission in Mark 16:15:

“Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature.”

We are committed to supporting missionaries, praying for the lost, and actively participating in spreading the Gospel to the ends of the earth. Through faithful giving, missionary partnerships, and mission trips, we seek to make Christ known in every nation.
